Mental illness is a big dark beast. Wrestling with the beast is never easy. It does more than just seize your mind - it takes your body, your soul, and your relationships, and it tries to drag them into the darkness with you

OUR MISSION

The wilderness of mental
health disorders remains
largely uncharted.
The wilderness of
mental health
disorders remains
largely uncharted.

It can affect anyone—you, your friend, your brother or sister, your colleague. Isolation and shame prevent those who struggle with mental health challenges from sharing their pain. Ignorance, prejudice, and lack of concrete resources prevent the rest of us from listening, accepting, and supporting.

Alessio's Glad House is here to help change that.

Human connection is what we all crave—the desire to feel we are understood, accepted, and supported. The beauty behind an accepting community is companionship during vulnerable, dark, and mountainous times in life. We believe that no one should have to climb their mountain alone.

If you or someone you know is struggling with mental wellness, please:

Friendship exists to draw people together. But in its highest form, it becomes something entirely different, something expansive. When two people meet like that, the world becomes a bigger, richer place.
